Localized Payment Automation & Wallet Management

Stop chasing bank transfer screenshots on WhatsApp. Tutearn’s payment engine is built specifically for the local financial habits of Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Why Localized Payments Matter

In Southeast Asia, credit card adoption remains low, and manual bank transfers or QR codes (like PromptPay, MoMo, or GoPay) are the standard. Most Western platforms force you into high-fee international gateways that take 3-5% of your hard-earned tuition.

Tutearn allows you to track these localized payments without the "middleman fees." You keep 100% of your revenue while providing a professional, automated experience for parents.

Setting Up Your Payment Flow

1. Configure Your Local Currency

Before collecting payments, ensure your workspace is localized.

  • Navigate to Settings > Workspace Configuration.

  • Select your country and primary currency (IDR, VND, THB, PHP, or USD).

  • This ensures all invoices and wallet balances reflect your local market accurately.

2. The Student Wallet System

Tutearn operates on a "Wallet" logic to ensure you are always paid upfront.

  • Top-Ups: When a parent sends a payment via bank transfer or cash, the Admin "Tops Up" the student's wallet in the dashboard.

  • Automatic Deduction: When a student books a class, the system automatically deducts the lesson fee from their balance.

  • Zero-Balance Protection: Students cannot book sessions if their wallet balance is empty, protecting your business from unpaid classes.

  • Instant Receipts: Once saved, the system generates a professional PDF receipt. This is instantly available in the Parent Portal, eliminating the need for you to manually create and send invoices.

Professionalism That Justifies Premium Pricing

By moving from messy spreadsheets to a structured Student Management System (SMS), you build immediate trust with parents. They can log into their own portal at any time to see their remaining balance and payment history.

This transparency reduces "payment friction" and allows you to focus on enrolling more students rather than acting as a debt collection agent.

Payments FAQ

Q: Does Tutearn take a percentage of my tuition fees? A: No. We are a SaaS platform, not a payment processor. You keep 100% of your earnings.

Q: Can I track cash payments? A: Absolutely. Our "Manual Log" feature allows you to record cash or physical checks so your total revenue dashboard is always accurate.

Q: Are parents notified when their balance is low? A: Yes, the system provides clear visibility of the wallet balance, encouraging parents to top up before their next set of lessons
